BUSINESS PLAN FOR DRY PORT IN SENEGAL
Senegal is experiencing rapid economic growth. The supporting logistics infrastructure needs to be developed to enable further growth. Hence, a tender was launched for the development of a new Dry Port in Pout. The client requested MTO to find a world-class technical partner, to jointly prepare a business plan, and to prepare and present the tender submission. MTO successfully executed the full requested scope.
TURN-KEY DELIVERY OF NAVIGATION BUOYS
In addition to improvements to the well-established Port of Dakar, two new ports are being constructed in Senegal: at Bargny and Ndayane. Expanding maritime activity requires more and better maritime markers. MTO was retained to source, supply, and assemble new ocean-grade marking buoys. This has been successfully completed, significantly faster than the committed timeline.
PILOT AND MOORING VESSELS DELIVERY SUPPORT
The client had successfully offered new pilot and mooring vessels, a process which MTO had supported. For the delivery of these vessels, we were requested to arrange for the import, delivery, and hand-over to the new owner. Following various inspections, verifications, and sea-trials, the vessels were accepted, and the deal was fully concluded without issue or delay.
